Newly-Hired Editor At OK! Is Just 'Consulting' (Read: Taking Over)
OK! says Jason Oliver Nixon, the former Gotham editor, is indeed joining the celebrity weekly, as we'd heard. But instead of lording over editor-in-chief Katie Caperton, he'll be "consulting" for her as an underling.
Similarly, Juliet Gray is just "consulting" for OK!s publisher on how to make money without spending gobs of it on celebrity-baby covers.
Why do we get the feeling "consulting" in this case just means learning the voice mail codes and names of various underlings before sending the consulted-to packing?
