Nikki Finke passes along word that Viacom boss Phillipe Dauman "wanted to get a jump" on retaining Grey, whose current contract expires at the end of the year but whose tenure — however much money he spent and partners he deported to India — has been distinguished enough to ask back for another five-year run.
