It is "the holy day season," we're told. Here at Gawker HQ, that means one thing: Christmas music!*

Here is Darlene Love singing the best Christmas song ever basically, on the Letterman show in 1995. She is the best, there is none of that "ironical snark" in that statement.

And here is the other best song ever, "Hooray For Santy Claus," by Milton DeLugg, the famous gameshow music arranger and composer. Fun fact: DeLugg produced Buddy Holly's "Rave On!" This song is from the wonderful motion picture Santa Claus Conquers the Martians.
