For Sale: Jeffrey Epstein's Gently Used Ferrari
Is reclusive money manager and convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein looking to raise a little cash to pay off his mouting legal bills? One of the car collector's most prized vehicles, a 2003 Ferrari 575M Maranello, is now up for sale and can be yours for a very reasonable $159,000. John Connolly, the former NYPD detective turned investigative reporter who tipped us off to the sale, tells us that Epstein recently transferred to the car title to his pilot in an effort to conceal its (less-than-savory) origins. And, sure enough, that appears to be the case.
The "seller" of the Ferrari is listed as one Larry Visoski, who has identified himself in Federal Election Commission filings in the past as the chief pilot of Air Ghislane Inc. The "Ghislane," of course, refers to Ghislane Maxwell, the daughter of the late newspaper mogul Robert Maxwell, who has long been one of Epstein's closest confidantes, has been accused by Epstein's victims of helping the money manager procure underage women, and was recently called to testify in several of the pending civil lawsuits against Epstein.
If you're in the market for a shiny blue Ferrari with only 5,000 miles on it—and its past doesn't put you off, of course—feel free to touch base with Visoski and arrange a time to check it out in person at the Upper East Side garage where it's currently located.
As for Epstein, it's unlikely he'll miss the Ferrari much. The Florida Department of Corrections requires that convicted sex offenders provide the state with a list of all the cars, trucks and boats they own. As you'll see below, even without the Ferrari in his possession (and not including the jet ski he's held on to), Epstein still has 21 other cars, three motorcycles, and an RV to his name.
