The Saw Mill River Parkway was closed last night during rush hour&mdash why? Oh, because there was a sniper loose, picking off motorists! More shots have been fired this morning, apparently. This could make the trip home to Chappaqua a bit dicey for Hillary Clinton, not to mention all the Wall Street execs and law partners trying to get back to their Westchester "cottages."
What's with the line in the linked article: "Police believed Friday that the story of the shooting was a fabrication and are 'certain' it did not happen on the parkway as claimed." Did it happen or didn't it? If it didn't happen, shouldn't the article be titled something like "Man Fakes Shooting Himself in the Back"?
I'm more surprised that days and days go by when nobody is trying to shoot those people.
Those who frequent the Sawmill don't need a sniper to flirt with death—have you seen the way those people drive??
