I was in the festive News Corp lobby recently, waiting for a friend who works at Fox News Channel, and noticed the "Toys for Tots" donation area. Scanning all the toys, I discovered something curious. Amongst the board games, stuffed animals and other treats was
a "Talking George W. Bush Doll". And as if the fact that this doll offers up several of Dubya's catch
phrases isn't enough, he also comes complete with "Presidential boots". What more could a needy child want?

We looked into the talking G Dubs doll, and lest you think that some pranksterish dissident News Corp employee tossed it into the bin with the hopes that a liberal child would get a kick out of a caricature spouting notable quotables like "Oh, no, we're not going to have any casualties" or something, rest assured that this is not a gag gift. It's an earnest doll with a serious expression on its face, and it says stuff like "Terrorism against our nation will not stand."

Yup, merry Christmas, poor kids. Keep us posted about whether it's anatomically correct, though, okay?
