Let's do launch: MacBook, AOL UnCut, G-Notebook, and Yahoo
Just so we all know what we're snarking this week, here's what the Big 3 5 7 plus or minus 2 are rolling out.
- Yahoo: New homepage, launched just as rising (formerly leaving) exec Brad Garlinghouse takes the helm of the homepage and My Yahoo. And every blogger's got something to say (except for me and my monkey).
- Google: Google Notebook, which is boring because it's so fundamentally useful.
- Microsoft: Windows Media Player 11, which sucks less than earlier Windows Media Players. (In other words, it sucks.)
- Apple: The MacBook. $100 more than the iBook I bought last week. Damn it.
- AOL: AOL UnCut. What does VideoEgg have that YouTube doesn't? A fat legitimate contract.
