Looking at the Look Book
In their latest installment of the Look Book, New York magazine takes its Brooklyn Style issue to the extreme by hitting Fulton Mall and interviewing Glenn Staley and Kyle Mingo, two "urban b-boy" party promoters. Staley likes his clothes by Pharrell, but Mingo prefers shirts with Muslim themes and "Afghanistan scarves" around his neck. The guys keep the stickers on their hats to show that they, uh, have a lot of hats, and they both think they'd fit in better around Soho. What, not fans of Maclaren-laden Brooklyn?

Amy was presumably there to judge a Fishbone look-a-like contest and ended up running into two Dr. Madd Vibe doppelgangers Staley and Mingo. The chance meeting is particularly ironic because Staley and Mingo are New York-based promoters, and as music fans everywhere know, Fishbone had a smash hit with "Party at Ground Zero."

Well, quite frankly, just look at the graphic design of the shirt itself. C'mon, nothing represents the supposed plight of the Muslim like a bad Keith Herring-hieroglyph-slim fit. If he could've handled his joy flakes I'm sure Samo would be churnin' out this kinda product left and right.
