Some late-breaking but very important MLK news moved on the AP wire last night, and we feel we must interrupt our regular, post-MLK Day programming to bring it to you:

WASHINGTON (AP) — Blacks are more likely than whites to commemorate Martin Luther King's birthday, an AP-Ipsos poll found.

While we now eagerly await polling data in two weeks on whether Chinese-Americans are more likely than other groups to celebrate the Chinese New Year, we also find ourselves sad that we missed last month's results on whether Jews or gentiles are more likely to celebrate Christmas. It was, we're sure, revelatory stuff.
