This email arrived the other day:

You might be interested in "The Tower," an animated music video that Consumers Union just released late Friday about the media. Take a look at — www.HearUsNow.org

And all we could think was: An animated music video about media consolidation, and you think we might be interested? Well, fuck. Bring that music video on — because nothing makes for clever and amusing online entertainment like leftie agitprop!

As we sat back to watch this riveting and oh-so-amusing video, we figured it didn't get any better than this. (A dude was realizing all his media comes from one big company! And he didn't like it! And there was a song! And wacky animation! For two and a half whole minutes!)

But, oh, it did get better.

Another email came in, and then we could barely contain ourselves:

"Monster Mash" — the song that defines Halloween — is being brought back to life again today with the help of the original recording artist and a new Web-based appeal to fight global warming. The song and a new Flash movie, both available at http://www.climatemash.org, ask the public to tell their elected representatives in Washington that they want action on global warming.

Bobby "Boris" Picket is back?! Reworking "Monster Mash" as yet more leftie propaganda?! Well, holy Ted Kennedy, things can it's our lucky day.

Oh, and the genius lyrics on this one! "(The climate mash) / They're doing the climate mash / (The climate mash) / Real science is bashed / (The climate mash) / Solutions are trashed."

It's an embarrassment of riches, really: So much political propaganda, so little time. It's a great thing these activist groups learned how to use the Internet.
