Burt Reynolds Slaps Producer Just Because He Can
It's good to know that after all these years, Burt Reynolds is still kicking ass for no good reason. (Not that he needs a good reason — he's Burt fucking Reynolds and he'll do as he pleases.) At last night's premiere for his movie The Longest Yard, Reynolds slapped a CBS assistant producer for being remarkably insolent:
The producer was asking Reynolds, 69, about his new movie "The Longest Yard" outside the premiere in the Chelsea section of Manhattan Tuesday night when the actor became annoyed.
"You don't know anything about the movie?" Reynolds asked.
The producer acknowledged he hadn't seen it or the original 1974 version. Reynolds then slapped the producer. "What ... kind of guy are you?" he asked.
After the cameras stopped rolling, Reynolds then proceeded to barbecue the producer's ass in molasses.
