So, according to Broadcasting & Cable, Cybill Shepherd's gonna reprise her role as Martha Stewart for another CBS biopic:

CBS offering promises to show a very different side of the domestic diva, who has experienced quite a few life changes since the first movie aired. It will chronicle the events leading up to her indictment, her stay at Camp Cupcake and her subsequent reemergence.

We think this is a great idea (and not just for the steamy Big Bird Cage second act). Maybe Shepherd can pull a Jean-Pierre Léaud and make a late career of playing Martha over and over again every couple of years.

At first we wondered if she'd been cast as 'retro Italian gesture' again, but we were pleasantly surprised. Really, we can't think of anyone else who could've played Stewart better.
