On last night's Tonight Show, doppelgängers Will Ferrell and Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith finally settled their long-standing feud with a much anticipated drum-off. I won't give away the ending, but there was cowbell and a surprise musical guest.

The beef between the two began in February, when during a Reddit AMA Smith challenged Ferrell to drum-off. Ferrell accepted, but only if they could raise a combined $300,000 for Cancer for College.

Money raised, Ferrell and Smith, wearing identical outfits, spoke to Fallon about the contest. Later, after the winner was declared, Ferrell gave a backstage interview to Funny or Die.
