Watch NASA's Orion Shoot Through Space on Successful Test Flight

This morning, after a few hiccups yesterday, NASA sent its Orion spacecraft into orbit from the Cape Canaveral Air Force Station in Florida. The test flight will see Orion orbiting Earth twice and landing off the coast of Baja, California four hours after taking off.

According to The Verge, Orion will reach 3,600 miles above Earth's surface and re-enter the atmosphere at 20,000 miles per hour. Orion is intended to carry human passengers eventually, but today it's flying unmanned, with a cargo of "mementos and inspirational items" including a recording of "We Shall Overcome" and a cookie from Sesame Street's Cookie Monster.
