Vox published something worth reading today, but it was apparently unintentional and the post has since been deleted. So close!

The explainer about the midnight expiration of portions of the Patriot Act reportedly contained at least three not-for-publication editor’s notes that, though harmless, are somewhat entertaining and helpful—a result some might even call a great improvement.

Unfortunately the page has since been pulled and replaced with a 404 explainer. A senior writer says the fully edited version sans comments will be republished soon. [But does anyone care?]
