According to reports, Virginia authorities believe the male shooter who murdered two people during a live WDBJ broadcast was a “disgruntled” former employee of the station.

Although cops have reportedly determined the man’s name and license plate number, they have not yet released any identifying information.

Virginia governor Terry McAuliffe tells WTOP that police are currently “in active pursuit” of a suspect and expect to have him in custody soon. CNN reports officers are currently chasing him down Virginia’s I-81.

McAuliffe tells the station, “We know who the suspect is, we believe it is a disgruntled employee from the TV station is what we believe right now.”

Update 10:32 a.m.

CNN now says police are pursuing the suspect down I-64, which runs east to west across Virginia. McAuliffe reportedly says his arrest is “imminent.”

Update 11 a.m.

The suspect has been identified as Vester Lee Flanagan, a former employee at the station.
