Two More D.C. Landmarks Vandalized with Green Paint
The green vandal strikes again.
Less than a week after a mysterious culprit—or culprits—shut down Washington, D.C.'s Lincoln Memorial by splashing green paint all over the historic monument, more green paint has been discovered thrown on the pipe organ console in the National Cathedral and on the Joseph Henry statue across from the Smithsonian Castle.
Police are currently not connecting these latest acts to the vandalism that took place at the Lincoln Memorial on Friday, according to news station WUSA.
