Two men in Hamilton, Ohio fell to their deaths when painting a water tower, police say. They had been painting the tower when scaffolding that was holding them up "failed."

The Butler County sheriff's office reported that when police arrived at the scene in rural Ohio on Friday, one man was already dead at the scene. The second man was pronounced dead when efforts were made to airlift him to a nearby hospital, the AP reports.

The names of the men were not released and police are investigating what happened at the water tower on Friday to cause the accident.
