Time to Add Scorpions to Your List of Things to Fear About Flying

All the passengers on a flight from Los Angeles to Portland this weekend had to be removed when a scorpion casually scuttled down the aisle and stung a passenger.
The Alaska Airlines flight was reportedly taxiing for takeoff when the scorpion attacked the suspiciously laid-back woman. Via the Los Angeles Times:
The plane returned to the gate and medics checked the woman. She declined additional medical treatment but did not stay on the flight, Cosgrove said.
The woman had brushed the scorpion off of her before stepping on it. Employees searched the plane and checked the overhead bins but did not find other scorpions, Cosgrove said
"The woman was a real champ," witness and Oregon State University men's basketball coach Wayne Tinkle told ESPN. "She acted like it was a mosquito bite. They got it off her but the needle was stuck.
Flight attendants were given the fun honor of checking for additional scorpions on the plane—which reportedly originated in Los Cabos, Mexico—before eventually taking off an hour late.
Guy saw scorpion on his shoulder flicked it off and it landed on lady and stung her. Chivalry is dead.
