To promote itself as the number one coffee brand of sleepyheads, Dutch roaster Douwe Egberts installed a very special vending machine in South Africa's O. R. Tambo International Airport that dispenses coffee in exchange for yawns.

Using built-in facial recognition software, the machine was able to detect over 200 yawns and distribute free wake-up juice accordingly.

I'd express my concern over the creep-factor of a vending machine that records and reacts to the facial expressions of random passers-by, but I'm too tired.
