On last night's second-season, Watch and Sniff premiere of TLC's Here Comes Honey Boo Boo, the Thompson-Shannon family was alerted of a run-over hog. They chased it down, hacked it up and prepared, and prepared in a dish alternately referred to as "chunky pork and beans" and "hoof and beans."

I had no idea how any of this works, so I found this clip to be very instructive. I'm not going to follow said instructions, I just have a greater understanding of roadkill consumption, is all.

I also found the fact that none of these people has done anything to alter their appearance after watching themselves on TV for a full season to be refreshing.
