Texas Woman Accused of Stabbing Boyfriend to Death with Stiletto Heel
Police in Houston say a 44-year-old woman stabbed her 59-year-old boyfriend to death with a stiletto heel during an altercation early Sunday morning.
Ana Lilia Trujillo was visited by officers around 4 AM after she called 911 to report that her boyfriend had struck her and she "needed medical help for a male."
Upon arriving at the The Parklane luxury condominium in Houston's Museum District, officers were let in by Trujillo, and found her boyfriend lying dead in a pool of blood with multiple stab wounds in his head.
The police later released a statement saying they believe the murder weapon was the heel of a stiletto pump.
Trujillo was arrested and booked into Harris County Jail on a murder charge. She was later released on a $100,000 bond.
The police are withholding the name of the victim until his family is notified.
UPDATE: The victim was identified this afternoon as Alf Stefan Andersson, a research professor at the University of Houston Center for Nuclear Receptors and Cell Signaling.
According to a University of Houston statement, Andersson's focus was on women's reproductive health.
