Taylor Swift, cat-wielding thrower of pizza parties and newly-anointed pop crossover artist, got a new job. Swift will be appearing on NBC's vocal competition show The Voice as the contestants' key adviser, People magazine reports.

The New England grandma masquerading as a pop star will be joining the show as an adviser alongside Little Big Town, Stevie Wonder (maybe not blind), Alicia Keys and Gavin Rossdale, husband of one of the show's judges and perennial bombshell, Gwen Stefani.

Perhaps this new appointment will answer the age-old riddle, "Where does she take the cat". To the Voice studios, probably. We hope.
