The terrible and anticompetitive Ticketmaster/Live Nation merger got the OK from the Justice Department, so prepare to pay $200 in "service fees" for every ticket to anything you buy ever again.

XM and Sirius radio are merging! The Justice Department said it was ok and it totally won't hurt competition to have all the satellite radio provided by one company, because they actually compete with land-based radio, or something. In honor of the deal, Sirius is starting ten thousand more stations devoted to shitty 90s rock and Howard Stern saying naughty words. [AP]

Car-sharing companies Zipcar and Flexcar announced their merger today, which doesn't actually mean much for New York Zipcar members unless they'd like to rent in one of the cities currently only served by Flexcar (like Philly, if you have some ugly friends to visit).
