On an episode of NBC's Meet the Press on Sunday morning, former New York City mayor Rudy Giuliani made some egregiously misplaced statements regarding the disproportionately heavy population of white police officers in black communities. Is being gay "a choice"? Sort of, according to Colorado Republican Senate candidate Ken Buck. But "birth has an influence over it, like alcoholism." Homosexuality is just like a crippling addictive disease! Except, you're addicted to... oh, never mind.

Bill Clinton was on 'Meet the Press' today and praised the Tea Party's "impulses"—i.e., their concerns about the national debt and the economy. Uh, does he know Christine O'Donnell is against masturbation? Seems like a particularly relevant impulse.

Rand Paul, the extreme-right candidate for Kentucky senate, expressed some unfortunate anti-civil rights and pro-BP views this week. Then cited fatigue to get out of a potentially awkward appearance on NBC's Meet the Press today. Here's the video they ran.
