• CNN anchor and chief business correspondent Ali Velshi has picked up a new apartment on the Upper West Side. Velshi and his new wife, portfolio manager Lori Wachs, paid $1.85 million for an apartment at The Harrison at 205 West 76th Street. The couple scored a deal, too. • The townhouse once occupied by Luke and Julie Janklow has finally found a buyer. The divorcing couple put the home located at 16 West 12th Street on the market nearly a year ago for $24.975 million. Now real estate developer Ara Hovnanian and his wife Rachel, who sold their sprawling co-op at 820 Fifth Avenue late last year, have reportedly closed on a deal to purchase the 25-foot-wide home. • Bankrupt gallery owner Larry Salander has cut $1 million off the price of his townhouse at 63 East 82nd Street. The 9,200-square-foot manse, which the alleged art swindler bought for $4.75 million in 2004, was originally listed for $25 million before it was was dropped down to $15.995 last April. • Two neighboring units at the Time Warner Center have come on the market for a combined $57.5 million. Psychic company founder Steven Feder has put his four-bedroom, 75th-floor apartment on the market for $34.95 million (or $10.47 million more than what he paid for it in 2008). Meanwhile, his downstairs neighbor, venture capitalist Doug Von Allmen, his duplex pad on the market for $18.45 million. The apartments can be purchased separately. Luke and Julie Janklow have lowered the price of their West 12th Street townhouse for the second time since listing it for $24.975 million in January. The 25-foot-wide manse, which the Janklows purchased from Andre Balazs and ex-wife Katie Ford for $4.5 million in 2004, is now listed with broker Paula del Nunzio for $17.95 million. [Cityfile, BHS]
• Shire Realty CEO Rena Shulsky has put her penthouse at 812 Fifth Avenue on the market. The three-bedroom co-op, which Shulsky purchased two years ago for $9.23 million, is currently listed for $11.75 million. [Cityfile, PDE]

• Designer Domenico Dolce has closed on two penthouse units at the Annabelle Selldorf-designed "Sky Garage" building. The news that Luke Janklow and his wife Julie were divorcing first surfaced two weeks ago, and last week the couple's townhouse hit the market for $24.95 million. But the literary agent to the rich and famous (such as Anderson Cooper and Gwyneth Paltrow) hasn't been sitting at home mourning the dissolution of his marriage. We hear that Janklow is now dating Jessica Joffe, the flame-tressed social scenester and occasional model/writer who was famously involved with singer Ryan Adams until last year.

Two weeks ago, Page Six reported that lit agent Luke Janklow and his wife, Julie, the founder of the restaurant Sweetiepie in the West Village, were splitting up. "Real estate brokers are already eyeing the couple's magnificent townhouse nearby," the column quipped. It looks like Paula Del Nunzio of Brown Harris Stevens ended up winning the beauty contest. Today she posted the listing for 16 West 12th Street, which the Janklows bought for $4.5 million in 2004 from another divorcing couple, hotelier Andre Balazs and Ford Models CEO Katie Ford.
