Earlier this month, the Oregon police produced a video recorded inside the truck of LaVoy Finicum, the radical gunman who helped occupy a federal bird refuge before he was ultimately shot to death in a highway confrontation. On Tuesday, investigators concluded that Oregon State Police officers acted appropriately in the January 26 shooting death of armed Malheur wildlife refuge occupier LaVoy Finicum. According to the New York Times, however, FBI agents are being investigated for not disclosing the fact that they also fired upon Finicum.

In Portland on Friday, after the last four Malheur wildlife refuge occupiers made their first court appearance, Nevada Assemblyman John Moore spoke to reporters outside the Federal Courthouse. “In my opinion, Mr. Finicum was murdered,” he said, referring to LaVoy Finicum’s shooting death by Oregon state police.

On Thursday, the FBI released aerial footage of LaVoy Finicum’s shooting death on Tuesday. An airplane was following the joint FBI-Oregon State Police operation, during which Ammon Bundy and others were peacefully taken into custody.

Police say the shootout that killed Oregon militia spokesman Robert “LaVoy” Finicum began when he crashed into a roadblock and ended when he reached for his waistband.
