On CNN tonight, in the course of Super Tuesday analysis, activist and former White House advisor Van Jones took Donald Trump surrogate Jeffrey Lord to task over the Republican frontrunner’s white supremacist sophistry.

Three people were stabbed—one critically—and 12 arrested during a clash between members of the Ku Klux Klan and counter-demonstrators in Anaheim, California, about 3 miles from Disneyland, on Saturday.

Fourteen cadets at The Citadel military college in Charleston, South Carolina, have finally been disciplined after photos of them dressed up like the Ku Klux Klan surfaced on Facebook last month. Citadel president Lt. Gen. John W. Rosa insists, however, that the cadets were not trying to offend anyone with their outfits, pictured above.

Rosa was quick to explain the incident as a group of students “singing Christmas carols as part of a ‘Ghosts of Christmas Past’ skit,” that excuse looks even flimsier when considered in the context of the school’s racist past.

Frazier Glenn Miller, the bloodthirsty anti-Semite convicted of murdering three people at Jewish community centers in Kansas last year, has been sentenced to death. As the sentence was announced, Miller yelled, “Heil Hitler!” None of his victims were Jewish.

A group claiming affiliation with Anonymous, the nebulous blob of hackers whose influence and credibility has waned a lot in recent years, just released what appears to be a (real) long list of KKK members. The only interesting part is how horrible their Facebook accounts are.

On Monday, Frazier Glenn Miller was convicted of murder and other charges in last year’s shooting deaths of three people at two Jewish community centers outside Kansas City, the Associated Press reports. As the jurors filed out of the courtroom, Miller, 74, raised his arm in the Nazi salute.

A professed Ku Klux Klansman became the first American to be convicted of federal radiation weapon charges on Friday when a jury found him guilty of plotting to kill Muslims with a modified X-ray machine, The Guardian reports.

This weekend, the KKK held a rally on the steps of the South Carolina statehouse: “‘They took our flag, so be it,’ said Bader, a member of the Ku Klux Klan for the past two decades. ‘They’re taking our heritage from us. They’re taking the freedom out of America.’”

In a video that would be funny if it didn't revolve around violent bigots, representatives of the Ku Klux Klan confirmed the organization's call to shoot border-crossing immigrants from Central America to advance its goal of a "white homeland" in the United States.

Two Fruitland Park, Fla. cops have lost their jobs after an FBI source named the two as members of the Ku Klux Klan. According to WFTV, Deputy Police Chief David Borst resigned last Thursday and Cpl. George Hunnewell was fired on Friday. This isn't the first time a Fruitland Park officer has been accused of belonging to the KKK.

After a rash of recent crime, residents of Fairview Township, Pa. can finally rest at ease: Members of the local chapter of the Traditionalist American Knights of the Ku Klux Klan have started a neighborhood watch program in the township, complete with fliers and a 24-hour "Klanline."

In a landmark expression of idiocy, international news organization CNN has put together a handy little article on the future of the Ku Klux Klan. Accompanied by a detailed slideshow and about 2,000 words, the headline reads "Can the Klan rebrand?"

When I was a kid, my parents let me watch the great 1988 Hackman-Dafoe film Mississippi Burning at probably too young an age. For years afterward I was tormented by the thought that, like in the movie, there were Klansman somewhere who were stalking my interracial family and me and who would one day come to my house and kill us all (I was somewhat of a morbid child).

Last night, Discovery aired KKK: Beneath the Hood, a documentary that purported to offer previously unavailable access to various Ku Klux Klan chapters. Such unveiling feels like an act of desperation for a dying breed of people who are irrationally fixated on racial purity and white supremacy while claiming that they don't hate anyone. Bigotry is alive, of course, but I wonder how well it is when even the Klan is too cowardly to own up to its hatred. A figure "wearing KKK regalia" was spotted at Oberlin College this morning, the culmination of a month of racist, homophobic, and anti-Semitic graffiti being discovered on buildings around the Ohio liberal arts college's campus. In response, the school has cancelled all classes and non-essential activities, instead holding "a series of discussions of the challenging issues that have faced our community in recent weeks." Update: The vandals have been caught and the KKK figure may have been a person in a blanket.
