An hour-long amalgam of Fear Factor, adult DoubleDare, and an American Idol audition, this series is an Americanized reboot of British spectacle, Sing If You Can, hosted by self-depreciating reformed jackass Steve-O.

Killer Karaoke Combines Singing and Danger, Is the Only Show You Should Watch With Your Grandmother This Thanksgiving

Not since the original Fear Factor has a television show so unapologetically capitalized on our sadistic consumerist tendencies, but TruTV's new show Killer Karaoke has done that all over again and so much more. The hour-long television event (which premieres this Friday, the day after Thanksgiving) features five contestants competing for a grand prize of $10,000 while singing cult-classic hits from the last three decades while being forced to engage in several challenges that could potentially maim if not kill them. For instance, watch this guy sing "Hard to Handle" while repeatedly receiving several volts of electric shock.
