We're not sure what it is exactly, but there's something about Keri Russell that kind of makes us love her. It's probably that the Felicity actress lives quietly in Brooklyn with her husband and cute little baby and doesn't seem to have any interest in hitting the increasingly silly celebrity nightlife scene. Plus she has pretty hair. So it's no surprise that we love her even more after reading this brief Stalker sighting (after the jump) in which she drank wine, toked some reefer, and just seemed "normal." While checking out at an organic food store, Keri Russell got stuck with the one cashier who happened to be a Felicity super fan. The cashier could barely contain her excitement; however, she did politely refrain from showing Russell the tattoo of "The Scotts" (Speedman and Foley) she has on her back. Russell politely smiled and said thanks as she left the store. A cashier in the next lane hoped that somebody from Gilmore Girls would come in one day.

Compared to the last few years of beige, gold and altogether safe ensembles, this year's Academy Awards carpet was delightfully packed with surprising silhouettes (Heidi's exaggerated popped collar), feather detail that drifted nowhere near tackiness (Jessica Alba), and form-fitting strapless dresses that made actresses (gasp!) look like they have actual curvalicious figures (Cameron Diaz). Herewith, our glance at who we think stopped the show last night with their expertly picked dresses.

The star of the WB drama Felicity, former teen queen Keri Russell is now a B-list movie star and Brooklyn fixture.

"Keri Russell on Nevins Street in Boerum Hill, Brooklyn, being absolutely terrorized by paparazzi camping outside out of Michelle Williams' home. She was very sweet and calm, but clearly unnerved to tears by the seven or eight big men trying to snap shots of her having her a cup of coffee. Her husband picked her up about twenty minutes later."

This month's passel of sub-literate scrawlings to celeb mag Interview was somehow not as brain-blindingly stupid as the usual collection, which may or may not mean that they've hired a smarter intern to compose their correspondence. In any event, here's the worst of the bunch. Were we Felicity, we'd be a tad concerned about this crazy Canuck crossing the border in an attempt to express his admiration. Click to enlarge.
