TMZ is reporting that beloved singer-songwriter Joni Mitchell fell into a coma recently and has become unresponsive after being rushed to an ICU at the end of March. [Update—Mitchell’s reps deny the rumors.]

According to reports, singer-songwriter Joni Mitchell was hospitalized in the intensive care unit Tuesday after someone found her unconscious at her home in Los Angeles.

"I love Madonna to death, but she's never going to give me that damn baton. I'll probably turn into more of a Joni Mitchell," says Katy Perry, who apparently has never listened to Joni Mitchell or tried to pry anything from her cold, dead painter hands.
