• In related news, Johnny Damon's former apartment at One Beacon Court is up for sale, too. The baseball player and his wife sold the 39th-floor pad three years ago for $8 million. We Don't Know Sports, But We Do Know Hotness

Jessica · 12/22/05 07:42AM

We don't particularly adore baseball, nor will we feign to have more than a purely infantile understanding of this whole Johnny Damon playing for the Yankees thing (we leave that business to our Creatine-snorting brother at Deadspin). But when the back cover of the Post juxtaposes a picture of a man before and after his team-mandated cut and shave, we can comprehend what this all means: Steinbrenner took a man who was hotter than Jesus himself and fucking ruined him right before the big guy's birthday. For once, we're siding with Boston: The Yankees are pure evil.
