Richard Gere Seals the Deal at Palazzo Chupi

• Two weeks after it was reported that Richard Gere had found a buyer for his condo at Julian Schnabel's Palazzo Chupi, city property records indicate he's closed on the deal. Gere sold the 3,500-square-foot pad for $11 million, which is $1 million less than what he paid for it and $6.995 million less than what he was seeking when he first put the apartment on the market last year. As for who will be moving into Gere's former pad, he/she remains a mystery for the moment: The buyer is listed on the deed as Mercator 360 LLC. [Curbed]
• Brian Brille, Bank of America's former head of investment banking and its newly appointed Asia-Pacific chief, has closed on the sale of his 5,473-square-foot apartment at Trump Park Avenue for $14 million. Brille went into contract to sell the third-floor condo in October. [Real Deal, previously]
• Martin Begun, the husband of real estate marketing guru Louise Sunshine, has gone into contract to sell his 36th-floor apartment at One Beacon Court. The two-bedroom condo, which Sunshine's real estate broker son, Sam, listed for $6.75 million last month, is being picked up by a former JPMorgan investment banker who already owns an apartment in the building. A Real Estate Exec Sells, A Kushner Buys

• Lee Neibart, a partner at Apollo Real Estate Advisors, and his wife Joyce, have closed on the sale of their 16th-floor apartment at 15 Central Park West, which they went into contract to sell back in May. The three-bedroom condo sold to a company called J & K Park Properties for $7.5 million, or $500,000 more than what the couple paid for apartment in January. [Cityfile]
• Real estate heiress Melissa Kushner—she's the daughter of Murray Kushner, niece of Charles Kushner, and Jared Kushner's first cousin—has paid $2.225 million for a three-bedroom condo at 534 Hudson Street with her husband, Jeremy Kaplan. [Cityfile]

The Bronfmans Head to London, Tim Geithner Rents

Edgar Bronfman Jr. and wife Clarissa are putting down roots in London. The couple has picked up a "posh house" in Kensington and plan to relocate with their four kids by the end of the summer, although the Warner Music chairman/billionaire heir says he plans to divide his time between London and NYC. • Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner has taken $60,000 off the price of his Westchester home. The five-bedroom Tudor in Larchmont, which went on the market for $1.635 in March, has been reduced to $1.575 million. • Russian communications mogul Timur Artemiev, who co-founded the country's largest mobile phone retailer, has picked up a New York pied-à-terre. Artemiev paid $1.39 million for a two-bedroom condo at the Chelsea Stratus on West 24th Street. [Cityfile]

Eve Weinstein Cuts Again

• Eve Weinstein, the ex-wife of film mogul Harvey Weinstein, has lowered the price of her sixth-floor apartment at 1133 Fifth Avenue for the second time since first putting it on the market in December for $13.5 million. The four-bedroom spread, which was reduced by $1 million in February, can now be yours for $11.9 million. [Cityfile, Sotheby's]
• Alleged scam artist James Nicholson's Meadow Lane mansion in Southampton has been seized by authorities. The oceanfront estate, which he purchased from John and Lauren Veronis for $27 million in January—and unsuccessfully tried to resell for $33 million a few weeks later—has since been appraised for $25.5 million.
