The Army says it can't find its own copy of the Wikileaks video showing the killing of two Reuters staffers in Baghdad in 2007. But according to Defense Department documents, the Army was supposed to use it for training.

Earlier today, on ABC's This Week, Defense Secretary Robert Gates defended the troops shown killing Iraqis in a video aired by leaks site Wikileaks. They responded to his rebuttal simply, in a tweet: "Robert Gates is a liar."

David Schlesinger, the editor in chief of Reuters, declined to run a story by one of his own reporters containing claims that the 2007 killings of two Reuters staffers in Baghdad by U.S. troops may have been war crimes.

Wikileaks is an admirable organization, and it has admirably published video of two Reuters journalists being shot to oblivion in Iraq three years ago by U.S. helicopter gunships. The video is evidence of cruelty and carelessness. But not murder.

The Iraq War is seven years old. No one responsible for it is in jail.
