Fatty Crab: Unfabulous?

Doree Shafrir · 11/15/06 03:40PM

In our ongoing effort to dispel the hype surrounding various pan-Asian restaurants around New York, today we bring you the case of Fatty Crab, chef Zac Pelaccio's Malaysian palace in the Meatpacking District. In this corner, we've got a dispatch from Eater last week, in which a tipster wondered why the hell the NYT has been all up in Fatty Crab's (proverbial) shit lately. Also in this corner, we've got this deliciously nasty post on Chowhound, in which the author wrote that FC's fish soup "tasted like vomit mixed with Mylanta." Mmm, delightful.
