• One month after he unloaded his Greenwich mansion for $18.7 million, former Goldman Sachs partner Donald Opatrny has shed himself of his apartment at 15 Central Park West, too. The 35th floor, three-bedroom condo, which Opatrny purchased for $11.6 million in January 2008 and listed for $26 million in June 2009, sold for $21.5 million to an unidentified buyer. [Real Deal]
• Bobby Flay and wife Stephanie March have a new Hamptons home in mind. The couple paid $1.485 million for a 2.89-acre parcel of land in Amagansett, where they're reportedly planning to build a "green" home. [Newsday]
• Steve Madden is spreading out at 175 East 73rd Street. The footwear mogul has paid $2.2 million for a second co-op in the five-story building. Three years ago, he paid $3.6 million for the apartment next door. [Cityfile]

• Morgan Stanley CEO John Mack and his wife Christy appear to be the mystery buyers behind last month's purchase of the limestone carriage house at 165 East 70th Street. The 107-year-old home, which was sold to Mack in "distressed condition" for $13.5 million—and which comes with a 12-car garage, believe it or not—was purchased from Bunny Mellon, the 99-year-old widow of philanthropist Paul Mellon. • Sandy Gallin, the Hollywood talent manager-turned-serial house flipper, is at it again. The onetime manager of stars like Michael Jackson and Barbra Streisand, Gallin has placed his 14-acre estate in Bridgehampton on the market for $32 million. [WSJ, Saunders]
• Steve Black, co-CEO of JP Morgan's investment banking division, has sold his estate in Greenwich for $18.9 million. The English-style mansion, which Black bought for $13.75 million in 2001, had been "quietly" on the market for $21 million. The buyer is believed to be to be investor Gerhard Andlinger. [WSJ]

• Billionaire financier John Paulson has finally unloaded his house in Southampton, albeit for about $10 million less than he'd hoped to sell it for. The 7,000-square-foot home, which Paulson picked up for $12.75 million in 2006 and put up for sale for $19.5 million in 2008 before later dropping the price twice, just sold to an anonymous buyer for $9.99 million. • Karen and David Fleiss are cutting prices again at 1030 Fifth Avenue. The couple, who have tried just about everything to sell the 16-room duplex they first listed for $47.5 million last June (including dividing the apartment in two), have reduced the price of the bottom-floor unit from $11 million to $9.95 million.
