As if the Dale Hemmerdinger, the chairman of the MTA, didn't have enough on his plate on the moment given the state of the city's transit system, two of his half-brothers are now suing him for allegedly siphoning off $2.2 million from 555 Fifth Avenue, a building that's part of the family's real estate conglomerate. The vice chair of the transporation agency, David Mack—Long Island real estate magnate, demi-billionaire, brother of Bill Mackplans to challenge the agency's decision to take away his perks, namely the six E-ZPass tags that allow him to avoid paying for tolls or paying for the bus, subway or LIRR.
