Don't think for a second that Fox News has a monopoly on vicious, personal attacks against its media competitors. Daniel Saynt (pictured, left) of the blog Fashion Indie is in his own, particularly bitchy catfight with Sarah Conley and Julie Frederickson (pictured, right) of Coutorture. The battle started with a racial insult, then progressed to trash talking and now involves unflattering photos. And one gets the feeling that, when all is said and done, it's going to make the despicably nasty Fox-Times brawl look like a tea party. The whole thing started when Saynt wrote the following noxious critique of Vogue's Andre Leon Talley:

"As documents of sheer snotty bitchery go, it belongs in a hall of fame alongside... umm... Socrates'rebuke of Alcibiades in the Symposium," we said the other day of KCD publicist Bonnie Morrison's email to Coutorture blogger Julie Fredrickson, who'd complained that her inability to purchase a ticket to Monday's CFDA gala constituted a "pay for play" scenario. But was Bonnie actually being a bitch? Also, do we actually know what our own classical allusions mean? According to Fashionista's Faran Krentcil, the answer to at least one of these questions is a resounding "no."

Julie Fredrickson, the young lady who founded the fashion blog Coutorture after learning via a Glamour internship that fashion ladies are bitches, has discovered another hard truth about that world: Sometimes, it's a tough place to be the new kid on the block. In a post today, she takes issue with the fact that reporters from large, deep-pocketed news organizations paid for their tickets to the Council of Fashion Designers of America awards ceremony on Monday—even though they would've been comped anyway—while bloggers like herself, who 'couldn't afford' to buy a ticket, were shut out. It's not fair! What is interesting, though, is the email explaining the situation that Julie received from publicist Bonnie Morrison (pictured). As documents of sheer snotty bitchery go, it belongs in a hall of fame alongside... umm... Socrates'rebuke of Alcibiades in the Symposium!

Yesterday, Glamour's "Slaves to Fashion" blogger Ashley Baker posted a response to her colleague Suze Yalof Schwartz's musings about onetime Glamour intern turned fashion blogger Julie Fredrickson. Today you can still see it in Google reader, but it's no longer on the site. Has Ashley been silenced? Maybe a peek at Suze's latest blog post will shed some light. "Big Gap Attack! Thank G-d it wasn't a Big Mac Attack! I am almost at my bikini weight. Here, my tally of yesterday's purchases... Don't tell my husband, hehehe!" Um, so... no.

Update: Ashley Baker wasn't censored! She censored her own self.

Glamour executive fashion director at large Suze Yalof Schwartz has some choice words for Julie Fredrickson, who interned at Glamour once upon a time for four days before discovering "just how much like pledging a sorority" the experience is. Julie's now gainfully employed at fashion blog Coutorture, which she co-founded. Suze congratulates her on her success, then calls her out on being a total spoiled brat.
