During a discussion of Barack Obama’s college transcripts and Donald Trump’s abandoned birther campaign against the President, former Trump campaign manager and recent CNN hire Corey Lewandowski appeared to entertain the possibility that Obama was not an American citizen Tuesday night.

On Thursday, Mitt Romney (unfortunately) made a speech condemning Donald Trump as a bully and a fraud. But as NBC’s Chuck Todd pointed out on Sunday, when accepting the real estate developer’s endorsement in 2012 Romney spoke glowingly of Trump’s character and business acumen.

Recently, Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump has been raising the question of his rival Ted Cruz’s eligibility to be president, implying that, because he was born in Canada, he is not a “natural-born citizen.” He is, of course, but that hardly seems to matter.
