Before killing six people at an East Texas campsite this weekend, William Hudson, 33, befriended his victims and helped dig one of their vehicles out of some mud, Anderson County Sheriff Greg Taylor said Tuesday.

Six people were killed at a campsite in rural Texas over the weekend, the Associated Press reports. Anderson County Sheriff Greg Taylor said that a suspect has been arrested and charged.
