On Sunday, two suicide bombers detonated their explosives at anti-Taliban provincial minister Shuja Khanzada’s home in eastern Pakistan, killing him and 13 others, the Associated Press reports. A militant group associated with the Pakistani Taliban claimed responsibility for the attack.

Kurt Eichenwald, the disgraced former New York Times reporter whose career went up in flames after he got caught secretly paying thousands of dollars to a child pornographer he wrote about, is on the comeback trail. Today he published an op-ed in the New York Times claiming to have evidence that the Bush Administration is guilty of "significantly more negligence" in ignoring 9/11 warning signs "than has been disclosed." That may be true, but save for a few interesting details, the evidence he presents has been in the public record for nearly a decade.

The Obama Administration has released roughly 200 pages of documents found in Osama bin Laden's Abbottabad compound as part of the ongoing Murderversary Spectacular. Here are the highlights:

Vice's man in Libya noticed that a flag flying above the courthouse in Bengahzi, the cradle of the now victorious Libyan revolution, belongs to Al Qaida.

The CIA is having trouble keeping its secret agents off the internet. First, it allowed the White House to publish a photograph of the man behind the operation to kill Osama bin Laden. And now the identity of the woman who runs its "Global Jihad Unit"—and who has a long (if pseudonymous) history of being associated with some of the agency's most disastrous boondoggles—has been published online by two documentary filmmakers who sussed it out with the help of some "savvy internet research."

Al Qaida has released a statement with some shocking news: Its leader, Osama bin Laden, has been killed in some sort of operation. Details are sketchy, but the terror network confirmed that Americans' "happiness will turn to sadness [and] their blood will be mingled with their tears."

Al Qaida in Iraq keeps excellent books, which some Rand Corporation analysts got a hold of and used to conduct a forensic audit to figure out how Al Qaida functions. Very efficiently, it turns out. But the pay's no good.

Iraqi authorities have rounded up 73 suspected Al-Qaida operatives in recent weeks, some of whom claim to members of cells planning Christmastime attacks in the U.S. and Europe.

The State Department has issued an alert urging Americans in Europe to be "vigilant about possible terrorist attacks" planned by Al Qaeda. It's hard because in America you at least know everyone who speaks a foreign language is a terrorist.
