Adam Cvijanovic

I've been told that I need to occasionally inject a little enthusiasm for something into Gawker. This "enthusiasm" concept sounds vaguely icky to me, but I'm going to try. Here goes: I met an artist several months ago who does really cool room-sized (and shaped) murals that make you want to sit and stare at the walls for hours. They're acrylic-on-Tyvek which allows them to be taken down and reinstalled in different shapes and sizes. And Adam's an interesting guy to boot. Becky Smith, the proprietor of Bellwether, refers to him as "the John Travolta of the art world," (which is intended, at least, to be a flattering comparison.) So here comes the enthusiasm: Adam Cvijanovic! Showing at the Armory! Adam! Adam! Really cool paintings! Rah! Rah! Go now!
