Clothing Entrepreneur Sells on Park

• Jason Rabin, the apparel mogul who sold his company less than two months ago for $401 million, has now unloaded his duplex at 850 Park Avenue, too. Ten months after listing the five-bedroom, 5,600-square-foot apartment for $9.9 million, Rabin and his wife Nicole have sold it to Martha Stewart Weddings editorial director Darcy Nussbaum and her husband, attorney Andrew Nussbaum (left) for $6.225 million. • John McColgan and Moya Doherty, the husband-and-wife team behind "Riverdance," have sold their duplex penthouse at 1080 Madison Avenue, albeit for substantially less than they were hoping for when they first listed it for $10.5 million in July 2008. The four-bedroom pad sold for $5.85 million, or $4.65 million less than its original asking price. [Curbed]

Clive Davis Buys; Ex-Viacom CFO Sells

Clive Davis is spreading out at the Ritz Tower. The legendary music exec, who already lives in a duplex on the 36th and 37th floors, paid $1.125 million for a two-bedroom apartment in the Park Avenue building. [Cityfile]
• Richard Bressler, Viacom's former CFO and a now a partner at Thomas H. Lee Partners, has unloaded his duplex at 850 Park. The five-bedroom co-op, which Bressler purchased for $9.75 million in 2005 and put on the market for $13.5 million in March, sold for $11.4 million. [Cityfile]
• Two months after Bruce Ratner sold his Montauk estate for $10 million, the real estate developer has picked up a more modest weekend retreat in Long Beach. Ratner paid $2 million for the three-bedroom oceanfront home. [NYO]

• Pro golfer Vijay Singh and his wife, Ardena Seth, are paying $5.675 million for a penthouse duplex at 55 West 59th Street. The 3,369-square-foot pad was listed in June for $6.9 million. [Real Deal]
• Joan Raines has closed on the sale of her late mother's townhouse at 5 East 78th Street, albeit for a lot less than the $23.5 million she'd been seeking last year. The 13,095-square-foot Barclay Mansion, which had been dropped down to $18.5 million before going into contract in June, sold for $15 million to a limited liability corporation registered to the same address as the Blue Note Jazz Club in the Village. • Mortgage company founder Steven Schnall and his wife Sherri have dropped the price of their massive townhouse at 2 North Moore Street less than three months after putting it back on the market for $33 million.
