Stephen Collins Scandal Means 7th Heaven Actors Won't Get Paid Anymore
The show 7th Heaven is nowhere to be found on TV in the wake of actor Stephen Collins' tape recorded molestation confessions—meaning the rest of the cast will probably never see another residual check again.
According to TMZ, a manager for Niki and Sam Saletta—both child actors who appeared on the show—is publicly complaining about TV Guide and UPTV's decision to pull the reruns from their schedules.
Manager Caryn Ross, who is also Niki and Sam's mother, told the gossip site she never saw anything "suspicious" and "never had any concerns about Collins."
Surprisingly, Ross' tepid support wasn't enough to counteract stories like this one and this one and this one, and the show will probably stay off the air for good. Collins was also fired from Ted 2, cut out of an upcoming Scandal episode, and dropped by his talent agent.
Collins has yet to comment publicly on the allegations.
