Could it be bronzer-and-lies enthusiast Rachel Dolezal’s charming Today Show anecdote about drawing herself in brown crayon as a child was a lie, too? If you ask her fantastically passive-aggressive parents, uh, yeah, obviously.

Dolezal, who’s on a media blitz today, told Matt Lauer that back when she was still a five-year-old blonde white girl, “I was drawing self-portraits with the brown crayon instead of the peach crayon.”

Lol, no, say the parents. They were presumably still purchasing her crayons at that point, and none of them were brown, TMZ reports:

Larry Dolezal tells TMZ it simply never happened — he never saw his daughter using brown crayons, instead of “peach” ... as she claimed she did when she was 5 years old. He says she didn’t start “fantasizing” herself as black until her 20s or 30s.

To be fair though, everyone’s looking a little dark under the mountains of shade piling up.
