Israeli authorities have arrested six Jewish suspects in the death of the Palestinian teenager who was kidnapped and burned alive, sparking violent protests.

According to the Associated Press, Israeli police said in a statement that the suspects were arrested early on Sunday and remain in custody. A security source speaking to Reuters couldn't give details about the suspects, except that they were Jewish and that police saw "nationalist motives." From Reuters:

Police spokesman Micky Rosenfeld said a gag order had been imposed on most details of the case, commenting only that police had "arrested a number of Jewish suspects who carried out the killing."
