A prince in jail! Cocaine on a private jet! A shameful confession! Two tons of amphetamines confiscated! For most of us here on earth it’s just another Tuesday. But Saudi’s royal drama, she follows no schedule and yields to no man—unless that man is arresting her for drug trafficking.

Such is the fate of Prince Abdel Mohsen Bin Walid Bin Abdulaziz, who was reportedly busted at the Beirut airport this week. His alleged crime? Something about the two tons of amphetamines “popular with Syrian rebels” allegedly found aboard his private jet.

That’s... a lot of amphetamines. In fact, it’s the city’s “biggest ever drug bust,” according to authorities.

The pills—reportedly an amphetamine phenethylline marketed under the brand name Captogan—were allegedly stuffed into 40 suitcases on the Saudi Arabia-bound plane. Authorities also allegedly found a stimulant colloquially known as “cocaine” and, I’m guessing, a lot of enthusiastic, ultimately abandoned plans to “hang out this week.”

But there’s more. According to ABC news producer Nasser Atta, the royal son admits he does drugs—just not the ones the cops found.

Sadly, “Lebanese security do not believe the #Saudi prince story,” Atta reports on Twitter.

Could Prince Abdel Mohsen Bin Walid Bin Abdulaziz be lying about the pills? Maybe—can you ever really, truly know a person? I say no, though I understand if you disagree. But I’ll tell you what—there’s one pill he’s definitely not taking—it’s a chill pill :)
