Reporter Passes Out During Live Shot, Recovers Like a Pro
A Salt Lake City reporter has filed an under-the-wire addition to the 2013 news blooper reel — and it's a doozy.
KUTV feature reporter Brooke Graham was doing a live report on cross-country skiing when she suddenly passed out cold.
"I am known to faint any time I am in high altitudes and get too cold," she later explained on her lifestyle blog. "I could feel myself getting light headed and tried to warn the producer that I was sick."
Not one to let a little syncope get in the way of a good interview, Graham woke up from her impromptu nap and immediately jumped back into her job.
After I went down I sat up and had no idea how long I had been out but saw the camera pointed at my face and decided to keep on talking.
"I have laughed many times watching this video so don't feel bad if it makes you giggle," Graham told viewers. "I feel like someone should dub [Pitbull ft.] Keisha 'Timber' over it and play the fall in slow motion."
