Yassine Salhi, who was arrested this week on suspicion of decapitating his boss, is alleged to have sent a selfie with the dead man’s severed head, Agence France Presse reports.

A source close to the investigation told AFP that Salhi sent the photograph to a number in North America using WhatsApp. The source said it was not possible to determine the precise location of the person who received the image.

Salhi was arrested after crashing his van into a warehouse of gas containers. Reuters reports that Salhi’s wife, sister and a fourth person have also been detained.
