Raven-Symoné Officially Comes Out
In a very matter-of-fact, oh-so-Raven sort of way, former Cosby Show child star Raven-Symoné officially came out today, putting to rest the rumors surrounding her sexuality.
"I can finally get married! Yay government! So proud of you," the 27-year-old tweeted to her 450k followers earlier today.
While some briefly debated whether Raven-Symoné was actually saying what everyone thought she was saying, the singer/dancer/actress/model quickly shot off an email to toofab to formally put an end to the speculation.
"I am very happy that gay marriage is opening up around the country and is being accepted," she said in her statement. "I was excited to hear today that more states legalized gay marriage. I, however am not currently getting married, but it is great to know I can now, should I wish to."
The last time Raven-Symoné took to Twitter to talk about her homosexuality, she was much less forthcoming.
"My sexual orientation is mine, and the person I’m datings to know," she tweeted in May of 2012 response to a National Enquirer claim. "I’m not one for a public display of my life."
